How do I buy a book?
All of our books are available to order through your local big box or independent bookstore and at online retailers, and ebooks of all titles are available through all major ebook stores, including Kindle, Kobo, iBooks, Nook, and Google Play. The purchase links on each book page provide links to each of these stores.
How do I find out about your new book releases?
Follow our news releases, Facebook, Instagram, or Bluesky, or sign up for our newsletter, which sends out messages every other Friday.
Where can I find out what events authors will be attending?
Our event calendar is the most up-to-date source for all our information on upcoming author appearances and markets or conventions where Brain Lag is exhibiting. Some authors also include information on their own websites or social media.
Are you open to submissions?
No. Due to various health issues and an influx of new manuscripts from previously signed authors, our queue of upcoming books is too large to allow any additional submissions. We will announce here on the website, in our newsletter, and on social media when submissions open again. Unsolicited submissions will be deleted unread.
Are you looking for artists?
I’m afraid we don’t have the budget for outside artists at this point. Your time would be better spent looking elsewhere.
I’m a book printer/marketer/app developer/hot single in your area…
We are not looking for partnerships of any kind right now. Proposals from people who want something from Brain Lag without ever having looked at one of our books will be deleted unread.
What is your AI policy?
NO. Brain Lag publishes only 100% human-authored work and is not interested in any genAI/LLM-created content. We will never knowingly release any genAI/LLM-created material. That includes press releases, back cover blurbs, graphics, and social media posts.
I represent a book store/library. How do I get your books in my location?
All of our titles are distributed through Ingram for both the retail and library market in the U.S. and beyond. For Canadian libraries, you can order any of our books through Library Bound or Whitehots. We are also happy to work directly with independent bookstores; simply send us a message.
Still have questions? Send us a message and we’ll be happy to answer.
