The arkship Guiana making its way to its new planetary home with its family of eight. The cargo ship Clemenestra making a cargo run with its captain and pilot. Routine missions, until space itself seems to fight their progress. Where they end up, they could never expect, and returning to what they know may be impossible.

The Curve of the Corridor combines a threat grounded in solid science fiction with a well developed universe as humans have reached into the stars, along with all the messy politics and prejudices that accompany it. With its cast of diverse and relatable characters struggling against problems much bigger than them, readers will immediately be hooked.

Author Grace Seybold (Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Star*Line, Clarkesworld) called the book, “A complex and satisfying voyage through a richly imagined future. Fans of emotionally resonant, large-canvas space opera in the manner of Ann Leckie and Arkady Martine will love Feistner’s The Curve of the Corridor.” Publishers Weekly praised Feistner’s “humorous, energetic prose” in her previous book, Blackout Odyssey. Booklist concurred, adding that the star was an “engaging and charmingly stubborn protagonist who is easy to root for.”

The Curve of the Corridor will be released August 14, 2026 in trade paperback (394 pages, ISBN 978-1-998795-30-7, $27.99 CAD) and ebook (ISBN 978-1-998795-31-4, $7.99) formats.

Victoria Feistner is a writer, a graphic designer, and an artisan in equal parts, although some of those parts are more equal than others.
